We are proud to introduce a new tower
speaker, the Silhouette.
This is a floor standing transmission-line
loaded 2 way speaker that is causing a lot of
excitement here at our store and at audio shows. Customers have
been blown away in our listening rooms, where
the Silhouette compares favorably to $12k
speakers (and up) in comparisons!
Like the Quartet, the Silhouette employs
ambient recovery technology, explained in more detail in a paper
we have available
here. We use
dual voice coil drivers and an additional
connection between the speakers to pass the
differential information between the two
speakers.
